laboratory analysis (sherlock, csi)= In this scnes we usaully get a bunch of people in lab coats going through a piece of, This usaully gives a big clue to who did it, computers and random futuristic equipment are all used in these scenes, The audience usaully can take part with the scientists to solve the crime e.g if a pipe was used as a weapon it could be the plumber who is the muderer, typically jargon is used which goes over our heads and in such shows as csi is made up anyway
interrogation scene (two-way mirror,sparse empty room)= In interrogation scenes we usaully get a suspect being put in a dark room and being questioned about such things as "where were you that night". The audience can join in on this and read facial ques and decide themselves if they did it. Also there is usually
